ZDDA Policies & Procedures
At ZD Dance Academy, we strive to create a positive and structured environment that promotes growth, discipline, and a love for dance. To ensure the best experience for all our students and families, we ask that everyone adhere to the following policies. These guidelines outline everything from registration and tuition to attendance, class cancellations, and recital information. Please review this section carefully to stay informed about our studio operations and expectations.
All registrations must be completed online using our Season 10 General Registration (see link button above). A non-refundable and non-transferable registration fee is required for new and returning students at the time of enrollment.
*Key Notes:
- Registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Enrollment is only confirmed after registration fee and tuition payment.
The first month’s tuition is due upon registration. Monthly tuition is based on weekly class hours, and payments are processed via an Automatic Debit System.
*Important Details:
- Payments are due on or before the 20th of the prior month.
- Manual Payment Deadline is the 25th.
- Auto-draft processes on the 26th.
- NSF Fee: $35 for declined payments.
- Late Fees: $20, assessed on the 1st, 7th, and 14th day of the active month.
- Non-payment may lead to class suspension.
Consistent attendance is crucial for progress. Dancers should arrive on time, ready to work, and participate fully. Excessive absences may affect performance eligibility in the End-of-Year Recital.
*Note: No tuition refunds, prorations, or credits for missed classes, unless cancelled by ZDDA.
Parents wishing to withdraw a student must submit a written notice 30 days in advance via the PARENT PORTAL (see link button above). All fees incurred during the withdrawal period are the parent’s responsibility.
*Important Note: Accounts must be settled at the time of withdrawal.
If classes are canceled due to emergencies, including inclement weather or COVID-19-related issues, they will be held online.
*No refunds or credits for classes transitioned to an online platform.
ZDDA’s competitive dance teams train rigorously in multiple styles and compete at regional and national levels. (*See link button above.)
